the Company we have been waiting has launched its Flagship phone ‘One’ in India
also known as ‘Flagship Killer’. It has been a long wait for the folks who want
a high end phone in a low end price that Kills the Flagship phones from a well-known
brand in all aspects that’s why it is a ‘Flagship Killer’ but it is exclusively
available on an online shopping site Amazon.in through a unique invite System
which is fair and transparent then a Flash Sale.
BUILD QUALITY AND DESIGN
The
first thing you notice about this is its build quality is different from others
available in two colours silk white and sandstone black with Dimensions of 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weights 162gms.It feels rough and
sturdy.
HARDWARE
OnePlus One supports a massive 5.5” Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which results in an impressive
pixel density of 401 PPI (Pixel per Inch). The screen is protected
by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
This Device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which is a Quad-core
CPU clocked at 2.5GHz and Adreno 330 GPU clocked at 578MHz coupled with 3GB of
Ram Clocked at 1866MHz and with an internal storage of 16/64 GB but only 64GB
variant is available in India. This device gets its juice from a 3100 mAh battery
and has got Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity and Ambient
Light sensors. All this provides a better and smoother experience to
user for multitasking and gaming as well.
One has got primary
camera of 13 MP Sony Exmor IMX 214
which has got 6 lenses to avoid
distortion and colour aberration with Dual-LED flash and secondary
camera of 5MP. Primary camera can record videos of 4K resolution and 720p HD Slo-mo
video at 120fps.
SOFTWARE
Running
on Cyanogenmod, which is a good news for many users and this device provides a
tons of camera feature and customization. The custom ROM is known for regular
updates and bug fixes. The devices sold in India will run on Cyanogenmod 11 OS
has got many functionalities but unfortunately it won’t be getting any update
from the Cyanogen which is clearly stated by company itself. OnePlus has committed
to fast tracking development of its ROM for the Indian OnePlus One, and a first alpha release
should come soon - with a more stable iteration planned for February. This ROM
will be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, will allegedly be bloat-free, will
retain Google's Material Design, and will be flashable on the phones that
shipped with CyanogenMod.
